The Government of Ukraine has identified energy efficiency of buildings and circular (re)construction as vital pillars for the country’s recovery.
Through the BE-Relieve programme (2024–2029), Belgium – with the support of Enabel, FIT, AWEX, hub.brussels, FINEXPO, SFPIM, Credendo and BIO – is mobilizing a Team Belgium approach to foster sustainable business partnerships that support:
- Greater circularity in construction (reuse of war debris, closed-loop recycling, etc.)
- Decarbonisation of infrastructure (green materials, bio-based solutions, low-carbon technologies)
- Higher energy efficiency in buildings (smart HVAC, renewable integration, advanced envelopes)
Who can apply?
Belgian-registered companies (SMEs or large) or consortia with expertise in green construction, energy efficiency or circular solutions. At this stage, a Ukrainian partner is recommended but not mandatory (matchmaking support available).
