Traveling to Belgium from Poland

You can travel to Poland only for essential reasons and must fulfil the following requirements:

  • You must have a negative PCR test that was carried out at the earliest 72 hours before your departure from a red zone to Belgium.
  • You must carry the sworn statement with you at all times.

  • Are you staying in Belgium for more than 48 hours or are you coming to Belgium by air or boat, or by train you must fill in the Passenger Locator Form at the earliest 48 hours before you arrive in Belgium.

What comes next?

Depend on the answers you have provided and the colour code of the country you are departing from, the form will work out whether you are regarded as a high-risk contact.

Option 1 Did you receive a text message?

If so, you are a high-risk contact. You must quarantine and get yourself tested on day 7 of quarantine. You will receive a code for this by text message.

Option 2 You Did not receive a text message

You do not have to quarantine.

Traveling to Poland from Belgium

Persons travelling to Poland are obliged to undergo compulsory quarantine.

  • People vaccinated against COVID-19 or who have a negative result of the diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 (done in Belgium not earlier than 48h before entering Poland) are released from quarantine after crossing both the external and internal borders.

Please note that only results of antigenic and RT-PCR (molecular, genetic) tests are honored, i.e. tests performed with the methods indicated in the laboratory criteria contained in the current COVID-19 case definition of October 31, 2020

  • people who have completed home isolation, isolation or hospitalization due to infection with SARS-CoV-2 virus, no later than 6 months before the date of crossing the border of the Republic of Poland.
