The Accidental AI Engineer
What happens when business people start writing their own tools?
AI is no longer just something you use. Increasingly, it is something you can build with.
What happens when people with no programming background start using AI to create simple tools, automate repetitive tasks and solve problems that previously required a paid software solution — or a developer?
Join the Belgian Business Chamber for an informal, practical evening where our members will share how they are actually using AI tools such as Claude and other LLMs to build things themselves.
No coding background required. No AI hype. Just real examples, practical lessons and a look behind the scenes at what happens when business people start telling AI: “I need this tool. Can you build it?”
What will we explore?
Our members will demonstrate real-life use cases, including how they:
- build simple internal tools without being programmers;
- automate repetitive parts of their daily work;
- use AI to write and adapt basic code;
- replace selected paid software with simple, AI-built alternatives;
- turn an idea or a business problem into a working prototype;
- figure out what AI can actually do — and where it still needs a human.
A member-to-member session
This is not a traditional conference with an expert speaking at you.
It is a member-to-member exchange: a few Belgian Business Chamber members will open up their own workflows, show what they have built and share what worked, what didn't, and what surprised them along the way.
Expect practical demonstrations, honest lessons learned and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Who is it for?
Whether you are a CEO, manager, entrepreneur, specialist or simply someone who has ever thought “there must be an easier way to do this” — this evening is for you.
You don't need to know how to code. You just need a problem you'd like to solve.
