Call for expressions of interest: Belgian Initiatives for Green & Circular Recovery and Reconstruction in Ukraine

The Government of Ukraine has identified energy efficiency of buildings and circular (re)construction as vital pillars for the country’s recovery.

Through the BE-Relieve programme (2024–2029), Belgium – with the support of Enabel, FIT, AWEX, hub.brussels, FINEXPO, SFPIM, Credendo and BIO – is mobilizing a Team Belgium approach to foster sustainable business partnerships that support:

  •  Greater circularity in construction (reuse of war debris, closed-loop recycling, etc.)
  •  Decarbonisation of infrastructure (green materials, bio-based solutions, low-carbon technologies)
  •  Higher energy efficiency in buildings (smart HVAC, renewable integration, advanced envelopes)

Who can apply?
Belgian-registered companies (SMEs or large) or consortia with expertise in green construction, energy efficiency or circular solutions. At this stage, a Ukrainian partner is recommended but not mandatory (matchmaking support available).

How to apply?

As the Belgian Business Chamber, we encourage our members to explore this unique opportunity to combine business growth with impact, supporting Ukraine’s rebuilding efforts while strengthening Belgian innovation and presence abroad.
