SD Worx is a leader in HR and payroll services in Europe. Every day, it supports companies in the digital transformation of their HR management, regardless of the size or industry in which they operate. Making HR a true asset, SD Worx provides solutions and tools, both to specialists and to entire company’s departments. SD Worx’s main task is to support HR management processes: from calculating employees’ salaries, monitoring and accounting for their working time, to managing talents in the organisation.
How did it start?
SD Worx was founded in 1945 in Belgium as a payroll administration company. Just 15 years later, as the first payroll service provider in the world, the company pioneered and introduced technological solutions. The innovations implemented have significantly accelerated its growth, making it Europe’s leading provider of integrated HR solutions. Since its inception, SD Worx has focused on transforming HR into a source of value for the business.
Poznań as an important centre of activity
Today, the company employs thousands of people worldwide, including Poland, and is constantly expanding and strengthening its position in new regions. A particularly important step in the context of expansion in Central and Eastern Europe was launching Competence Centre in Katowice in 2021, where the company currently employs around 150 specialists in the areas of IT, HR and labour law. Poznań is also an important centre for SD Worx Poland, due to its prospects and growth opportunities in the region, as well as its convenient location. The potential for development in this part of the country is enormous: from highly qualified specialists with language skills to stable investment opportunities. Importantly, the Polish market is perceived by the company as the most important European centre for outsourcing IT solutions for business.
A different approach to HR
SD Worx prioritises the support of people AT WORK and IN LIFE. The solutions offered help adapt to the latest trends, while meeting the needs of both employers and employees, managers and HR professionals. The demand for IT solutions that support HR management is growing every year in Poland and worldwide. Regardless of the scale of operations and the structure of the company, many modern companies choose to outsource selected areas, thereby gaining the time, resources and energy to work towards the development of their own business. Globally, almost one in two (45 percent) small business owners dedicates at least one day a week to human resources (HR) administration. In addition, 35 percent of business owners and managers of companies operating for 10 years or less devote between six and ten hours a week to this, and for companies with 20 to 49 employees, this figure rises to 37 percent[1]. SD Worx solutions help companies and HR departments adapt to the new reality. Employees can therefore combine different jobs and employment types, receive differentiated remuneration and continuous feedback, in line with the idea of work-life integration, and the operational potential of HR departments is being unleashed.
