New Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Poland

New Ambassador of Belgium to Poland and Lithuania

We are delighted to welcome H.E. Philippe Benoit, Ambassador-Designate of Belgium to Poland and Lithuania.

Ambassador Benoit arrived in Warsaw at the beginning of August to take up his new post. With extensive diplomatic experience, including previous assignments as Belgium's Ambassador to Croatia and to Romania, he brings a strong international perspective to this role.

He studied journalism and communication, marketing management, and international relations in Brussels. After ten years in the private sector, notably in public affairs, he joined the Belgian diplomatic service, serving in Moscow, Rome, and Brussels before becoming Belgium's Ambassador to Croatia and to Romania. Prior to his arrival to Warsaw, he served as Director of the Department of Eastern, South-Eastern Europe and Central Asia at Belgium's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, further deepening his knowledge of the region. He now brings this valuable experience to his new role in Poland and Lithuania.

We are especially pleased to have already met Ambassador Benoit. During a fruitful conversation with Julia Stachowicz, General Director of the Belgian Business Chamber, they discussed the Belgian-Polish business community, the Chamber's role, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation.

We look forward to building on this exchange and working closely with the Embassy in the years ahead, fostering connections between Belgian and Polish companies and further strengthening bilateral economic ties.
