As the war in Ukraine continues, our member companies do not remain indifferent to it. We present the list of activities taken by them in order to provide help and support to those affected by the ongoing conflict.
CFE, BPI, Plopsa and Momentum
For every zloty donated, up to 100 thousand PLN, CFE Polska and BPI Polska will each add an extra zloty from the company, i.e. triple the collected amount, that shall be then transferred to foundations which help Ukrainians affected by the war both here in Poland and in Ukraine. Umicore
Both of Umicore plants give wide support to the refugees from Ukraine, starting from organising collections of first need products, through refreshing apartments and cooperating with the local authorities to add school infrastructure and prevent the exclusion of the Ukrainian children. VGD
VGD prepared a guide on how to hire an Ukrainian citizen. You can find it here: https://pl.vgd.eu/en/newsroom/how-to-employ-a-citizen-of-ukraine-in-poland/ Moreover, the company purchased hygene products, nappies and food, and is also organising a collection of these products and clothes. VGD continues to collect things that many Ukrainians need, such as prams and cots, and its employees act as volunteers in aid centres making food, translating and more. If any of you would like to help, please contact VGD to find out what things are currently needed - you will be able to bring them directly to their office.
Solvay
Solvay has suspended all its operations in Russia and decided to donate 1mln EUR to the Belgian and International Red Cross. Funds will help provide access to clean water, medicine and medical equipment, repair vital infrastructure, and improve living conditions for families. Solvay has also committed to matching employees' private donations to help address the growing humanitarian needs.
Elephant Belgian Pub

The company is organizing a collection of the most necessary things that will be later given to the Ukrainian House in Warsaw.
