As the Honorary Consul of Belgium in Łódź and a former BBC Board Member, I am proud to be part of the BBC community.

As Democo Poland, we have a lot of memories connected with dozens of events organised by the Belgian Business Chamber, especially Belgian Days. During these meetings, which always have an unforgettable atmosphere, we started a lot of long-term business relationships. It was also our honour to meet some important persons, of whom the most memorable were King Philippe I and his wife Queen Mathilde whom we met in 2015 during King's Day celebration at Mniszech Palace, seat of the Belgian Embassy.

I still remember one of the 1st editions in Kulturpalast (Pałac Kultury I Nauki) were we did everything ourselves with a great portion of amateurism but huge amount of voluntarism. And look now ! It became “the” flagship event organised in a full professional way. Every entrepreneur with a link to Belgium and Poland should attend the Belgian Days. I will again, as usual, be an enthusiastic participant together with my colleagues from Cottyn Warsaw.'
