Strengthening Belgian–Polish Dialogue in Brussels | Networking Lunch

We are pleased to share that we attended a BEPOLUX Networking Lunch on 30 March, held at BNP Paribas Fortis in Brussels, bringing together representatives of the Belgian and Polish business communities for an exchange on economic outlook and bilateral cooperation.

The Belgian Business Chamber was represented by Leen Vermeersch, Vice-President of the Board and Julia Stachowicz, General Director.

The event was officially opened by Jean-Charles Wibo, President of BEPOLUX - The Belgian - Polish - Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce, setting the tone for a constructive and forward-looking discussion.

This was followed by remarks from Barbara Nieciak, Head of the Political Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, who highlighted key perspectives on Polish–Belgian relations.

Leen Vermeersch, presented the Chamber’s ongoing activities and its role in supporting cross-border business development.

The programme concluded with a keynote by Arne Maes, Senior Economist at BNP Paribas Fortis, who shared valuable insights during his presentation “Economic Outlook in Turbulent Times.”

The event gathered over 30 Belgian and Polish companies, including BBC members and concluded with a networking lunch that created space for meaningful discussions and new connections.

It was a truly fruitful meeting, reaffirming the importance of dialogue, shared insights and strong institutional cooperation in today’s evolving economic landscape.
