On 25 February 2026, Leen Vermeersch, Vice-President of the Board of the Belgian Business Chamber, met with Wouter Van Gulck, General Manager at Belgian Chambers, for an introductory exchange on the role and relevance of bilateral chambers in today’s complex geopolitical and economic landscape.

The conversation focused on how Belgian Chambers support and strengthen bilateral chambers worldwide - not only through strategic guidance and services, but also by acting as a connector across the global network.
Leen gained valuable insights into how closer cooperation between national and bilateral structures, continuous knowledge-sharing and a coordinated international approach can enhance the way chambers support companies in an increasingly complex geopolitical and economic environment.
